And, before we get to far into this, where we come from, Rio rhymes with Ohio. Which might not seem like much, at first, but both “Rio” and “Ohio” mean “River” if you trace the words back far enough.
But, let’s set that aside for now, and acknowledge that this is a disc golf blog. It is not disc golf weather right now, but that shouldn’t stop any of us from obsessing over which courses we’re going to play, once the sun comes out and the swamps recede somewhat.
In the meantime, if you haven’t seen it yet, the 2019 Men’s World Championship is totally worth watching. Even if you have seen it, watch the final back 9 again–there are some amazing athletes in this sport.
It’s too grody in the world to throw anything this evening, but I have high hopes to step outside late in February and rattle the chains a time or two.
